| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 19, 2008 Light hops, and just a touch of malt midpalate, gives way to a soft bitter finish. Subtle caramel undertones. Presents a beautiful amber colour with a nice full white head. bubbleflubber (900), Collinsville, Virginia, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 18, 2008 Pours copper into the glass, with a 1-finger eggshell head that diminishes to a medium ring, leaving spiderweb lace. Sour citrus, almost yeasty nose. The flavors are somewhat balanced between a drier malt and a medium-light hop back. The mouthfeel is (again) medium-light, without feeling too "zesty". It does make for a good sessionista and has some development, but in an "all around" sense. Not really complex, but well-integrated with a clean finish. Decent. rampmaster (322), Alden, New York, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 8, 2008 It has a clean clear golden color with a big off white head that fades to a thin cap that just covers the beer. The nose is light and has some herbal hops and bready malt notes. On the tongue the flavor is balanced between the hops and the malts. Carbonation is average with a light to medium body. Harpoons ale finishes crisp and clean which makes for a good overall average brew that is very drinkable. rodneykm (109), Westminster, South Carolina, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 7, 2008 Nothing exciting to speak of, but solid and quite drinkable. Coppery pour, not much head. More of a mild ale than an amber to my palate, with not too much hop flavor. A little tea-like, with nice malt to balance the hops. A little watered down, but it’s under 5%, so not surprising. Not much of a finish to speak of. MadIndian (997), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 27, 2008 Bottle, clear coppery pour with barely any head. Mild fruit and earth tones in the aroma. Sweet taste with mild hop in taste. It was ok not bad at all. Collint (465), Sylva, North Carolina, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 5/5 | 11/20 | Mar 14, 2008 Smells of sweet sticky malts, kind of like when spilled beer dries. Tastes nice and smooth, some roasted malt notes. Very nice ale, very drinkable.
