hamsterglory (48), Bryan, Texas, USA Apr 21, 2009 this is a nice beer, though somewhat odd. there is very little palate or mouthfeel in this beer; however, it offers a very nice lingering aftertaste of strong citrusy dry hops. a bleak, english bed of malts does surface in the initial flavor, clouding the hop flavor, making this IPA feel more like an amped up lager than an IPA. it is not until the aftertaste that the citrusy floral hops shine through. i’m not sure what to think of it. i keep buying it, trying to decide, which i am sure appeases the company just fine. still, i’m not sure this is one i will revisit for the long term. even the nose is bland, overly english and malty, void of the bouquet finally evident in the lasting moments. i do not pay to wait. i’m impatient. shucks, i take ice cubes in my coffee, for crying out loud. bu11zeye (5430), Frisco, Texas, USA Nov 8, 2007 (Draught) Pours a clear golden body with a moderate white head.
