| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 29, 2009 12 oz bottle: Aroma is malty caramel, a light candy sugar scent, and somewhat bready. Appearance is a clear amber color with a medium sized tan head that diminishes into a soapy film. Taste is caramel, somewhat sticky on the palate, lightly sugary, and an overall malt characteristic to this brew. Overall, Nice stuff nothing to blow you away, but I would buy it again. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 22, 2009 Deep, slightly reddish amber color...fluffy head with decent lacing. Malt aroma is basic, with just a hint of sweetness. Dry malt flavor, pretty typical of the style, in the front...somewhat crisp mouthfeel. Malty sweetness engulfs the back, but is quickly balanced out with a mild hop profile...finish is dry, with a light hop bite. As Irish ales go, this brew is definitely drinkable, but doesn’t possess any qualities that would make it stand out in a crowd. RollinHard (763), Fort Worth, Texas, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 11, 2009 Pours red orange with a small white head. Aroma of nuts, caramel, cinnemon, and pears or grapes (something fruity anyway). Tastes of caramel, pears, sourdough bread, almonds and finishes slightly tangy at first but turning to toast and burnt caramel. Light bodied, high carbonation. Well, it’s pretty ordinary irish red ale. MaltOMeal (668), Land of Sugar, Texas, USA
