| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 26, 2009 12 oz. bottle. True to it’s name, it pours a clear amber. No head to speak of though. Light roasted malt, some light fruit, and a twang I can’t quite place in the nose. Carbonation is medium high with a light, clean mouthfeel. A touch of dryness is there. Flavor is subdued with sweet malt at the forefront and just enough bitterness to help balance things out. I pick up toast with some light brown sugar on the palate and a bit of malt. Nothing jumps out at you with this beer and I get the feeling that’s the point. Not very complex, but a good session beer with very good drinkability. BeerHawk (1175), Huntsville, Alabama, USA
