Bottle from Total Wine - Midlothian on 04/10/2009. Clear copper amber body with a small frothy off-white head. Sweet caramel and pale malt aroma. Sweet bready flavor with a bit of cheerios, light caramel, and more pale malt. Medium body with moderate carbonation.

On tap at the Australian. Poured brown red transparent with white head on top. Taste was sweet, biscuity, and malty. I thought it was tasty.

Pour is a dull red with a large white head. Aroma is sweet with some malts and chocolate. Flavor is a rich malt with a little bit of cherry after the swallow. Nothing great but like the brown its very drinkable.

Sample at March 27, 2009 beer club meeting. Clear-amber color, off white fizzy head with no lacing. Sweet, malty aroma. Tastes like an Irish Red with a sweetness at the back of the throat. Hmm... looks syrupy.

12 oz. bottle. True to it’s name, it pours a clear amber. No head to speak of though. Light roasted malt, some light fruit, and a twang I can’t quite place in the nose. Carbonation is medium high with a light, clean mouthfeel. A touch of dryness is there. Flavor is subdued with sweet malt at the forefront and just enough bitterness to help balance things out. I pick up toast with some light brown sugar on the palate and a bit of malt. Nothing jumps out at you with this beer and I get the feeling that’s the point. Not very complex, but a good session beer with very good drinkability.

Bottle. Poured copper in color with a creamy off-white head. Aromas of sweet fruits. The flavor found a light fruit and roasted malt mix. Medium body and a roasted malt aftertaste.
