Pours red brown with a small head. Smells of caramel and bread. Tastes like buttered bread that is slightly astringent.

Pours with a clear red-amber body and a small, quick to fade, white head. Not much lace at all. Aroma is fruity with caramel, malts, buttery toast and graininess. Taste is strongly diacetyl with toast, caramel and dryness. Low residual sugars. Watery palate with light carbonation.

12 oz bottle. Had this one a couple years ago. Poured amber with a decent head. Smelled carmelly and malty. Tasted very malty and nutty, lightly hopped, a little grassy. Pretty good.

Aroma reveals little, taste is quite crisp and clean with a slight fruitiness. As the beer warmed I enjoyed the toasty flavor that started to come through. Would make a very nice session beer.

Bottle. Pours amber with an off white head. Caramel malt aroma with a bit of a dry nuttiness, as well as hint of hops. The flavor has sweet, toasty malt, combined with a nice earthy quality, and just a touch of hops. Pretty good.

Bottle shared with Jbo. Thanks buddy! Pours a clear amber with fair light tan head. Malty aroma and flavor. Clean. Simple and easy drinking. I rather enjoyed it.

Tap @ brewery. A good Irish Red from Harpoon. Amber-red color with a slightly sweet aroma and a nice, think head. Taste is similar, slightly sweet with a bit of spice. For those who aren’t a fan of the spring offerings from certain other Boston breweries, this is a fantastic alternative. While not the most authentic Irish Red on the market, it’s a solid offering.

Pours ruby-tinged orange into a Hibernian glass. Off-white pancake batter head recedes leaving no lacing. Sweet biscuit and caramel aromas. Crisp and sweet upfront with a lasting sour malt and peppery hop finish.
