220 ozer for Christmas present...Nice packaging but not much else to remember...Fairly hoppy, decent amber hue, expected more but was very easy to drink, minimal citrus, not from the land of hops.

Oct 10, 2008 Muted aroma of grass and caramel. Light gold in color, little head. Rich and malty, slight herbal, but not overpowering. You can drink it, but like a lot of harpoons, subpar.

Oct 3, 2008 22oz. Bottle: Aroma of hops, pine, toasted caramel malts, resin, fruit, herbs, vegetables, and platicy chemical. Poured amber in color with a large, dense, creamy, off-white head that lasted throughout. Clear. Very sparkling. Very good lacing. Flavor is slightly sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of hops, caramel, malts, pine, herbs, vegetables, and plastic. Medium body. Lightly sticky texture. Average carbonation. Caramel, hop, and plastic finish.

Oct 2, 2008 copper orange pour, small white head. Little to no aroma - slightly clovey. Flavor is unremarkable and not that enjoyable. No real hop flavor - medium bitterness with a grainy finish.

Sep 30, 2008 Bottle. Pours clear gold with an off white head. The aroma has caramel malt and floral/citric hops. The flavor is just a tiny bit boozy with caramel and hops. Not bad.

Sep 25, 2008 Got this out of the tap at Lower Depths in Kenmore. It pours an orange body and the head leaves a little bit of lacing. The aroma is uncomplicated heavy hops. The taste was mostly of flowery hops. The finish of the beer was a little sweet and tasted almost like bubblegum. Pretty light, but rather smooth palate. Another good installment to the 100 barrel series.
