Oct 30, 2009 2009-10-24. Amber body with a tiny off-white head. Mild aroma is touch odd, pale malts. Flavour of pale malts, light bitterness, odd toasty malt character. Average palate. Meh, adequate example of a style that I generally do not love. Shared by HogTownHarry

Oct 30, 2009 On tap at Harpoon Brewery, 8 October 2009. Pleased (and surprised) to find this still available on tap. Fairly dark gold for a helles. Soft malty aroma. Sweetish palate. Good depth. Lots of body for a Helles. Quite a lot of alcohol presence. Not too sticky. Not my favourite style but I liked this one.

Oct 25, 2009 Bottle/22 - Pours a darkish amber in color with almost no head and very little carbonation. Aroma is not strong with floral hops and some (small) malty sweetness. Flavor is slightly sweet initially with plenty of bready yeast and some floral hops. Medium bitter in the middle and finish, which was clean and slightly astringent. Definitely "blondish"... I Like...

Oct 24, 2009 (bottle ( 22oz ). shared at October 2009 WaterlooWeekend. Clear amber-gold with a small frothy off-white head. Vegetal, weak aroma - stale oily grain and moderate alcohol. Taste - sweet, simple, a bit of a fruity tang, not much alcohol to it. Slick, light body, smooth, somewhat quick finish - tastes okay, it grew on me.

Oct 14, 2009 Bottle: Poured a dark copper with a nice head. The aroma was floral and sweet. The flavor was sweet, honey, malty, slight hop, and grass. Overall, a really good beer.

Oct 4, 2009 From a bottle poured a dark copper color with a fair amount of head. Nice malty sweet flavor with a hoppy finish.

Sep 28, 2009 (bottle - 22 oz) Golden pour with a fizzy white head. Aroma is light and grassy with some hints of bread, floral hops, and straw. Flavor is lightly sweet and corny at the beginning with a dry and stale grassy middle and a very light and bitter finish. Some hops and grass come through at the end. Very watery.
