| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | May 13, 2009 Pleasant aroma with not a lot of hops on the nose, Light amber color is nice and mirrors the taste which is solid. Not overwhelming amounts of hops as you’d expect with most IPAs. Nicely drinkable.
Good for summer evenings. PJClarke (709), London, Greater London, England
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | May 10, 2009 Bright orange with a nice, white foam that takes some time to dissipate.
Sweetish grapefruit hops.
Big and bright. Crisp and aromatic. Cascade hops all over this. A good, whole tongue dryness. It repeats deliciously and the tingly little carbonation carries the dryness right back.
Not a bad beer at all. In fact it is a lovely, if typical, US IPA. boFNjackson (1318), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | May 7, 2009 Tap @ Plough and Stars... Poured faint orange with a thick white head. Aroma of faint grains, very bready. Overly dry palate and not enough bitterness to balance it. Big malts, very lagarish in profile -- not hoppy or aggressive enough. Sweet grains in the finish, johnnyoski (163), Macomb, Michigan, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 6, 2009 Bottle. Light amber color with a small white head. Sweet, citrusy smell with some subtle flowery hops. Some grapefruit and pine in the flavor but like most others have said its a little flat and thin. Just a very average IPA at best.
