Wet hop nose, faintly malty bits where the hop smack was expected. Fairly plain but certainly quaffable. TaktikMTL (2786), Montréal-Nord, Quebec, Canada

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Jul 15, 2008 I drank this beer straight from the bottle. The aroma was quite hoppy and flowery. The flavor was very hoppy which was balanced out with some maltiness. This is a pretty good IPA. Nothing special. doubleo (1121), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 12, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours clear, light orange/yellow color with a thin white head, a few specks of lace. Smells like a lager. Malty, crisp and light with some faint earthy hop scents. Tastes starts with lots of crisp light maltiness and then the hops kick in towards the finish. Hop flavors are subdued, this brew definitely leans to the malty side. Thin, crisp body, vibrant carbonation. gkao007 (28), Jersey City, New Jersey, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 12, 2008 The color of the body looks great. But that’s about the only positive thing I can think of.
Fans of bitterness will love this beer. There were no other special characteristics that popped out.

Appear - Light golden yellow. Low white head does not persist. Moderately high carbonation.
Aroma - Light bready malt upfront. Moderate spicy/citrus hops. Lemony. MOderately low fruity esters.
Flavor - Bready malt. Crisp citrus / lemon hops upfront. MOderate fruity esters - banana. MOderately high hop bitterness. Hop flavor lemony and resiny. Botterness lingers into aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Medium body. Moderately high carbonation. Hop bitterness lends to dry finish. Botterness lingers in aftertaste. No astringency, but slight carboinic bite.
Overall - A different version of the IPA style. Not as malty or hoppy as most IPAs, seems like more of an American Pale Ale. Fruity esters, lighter body, and refreshing finish make this a very pleasant session beer. maugus4ever (121), Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA
