Reasonably good IPA, some hops flavor, slight grapefruity notes. Goes down pretty smooth. I like the fact that they don’t try to hit you over the head with a lot of hops. Easy drinking beer for an IPA. Goes well with food. I can understand why its popular. wyzzywyz22 (801), Wirral, Merseyside, England
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Mar 30, 2008 Bottle, courtesy of a Slothez import. Pale golden colour with a thick white head. Slightly metallic aroma. Hints of malt and hops but not really much of anything going on here. Very disappointing and uninspiring brew. pepsican (885), The Student Ghetto, Iowa, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 29, 2008 Got as an extra from tyto. Thanks man! Poured orange with a medium sized off white head. Aroma was faint hops and citrus. Flavor had just a bit of hops, some citrus, a bit of biscuit. Finished clean, decent carbonation. Not bad. shackinetics (132), Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 28, 2008 Clear golden orange pour with 1/2 a finger of white head. Very nice hoppy citrus aroma. Flavor a little more mild and a sweet citrus - with a bit of grapefruit bite. Kind of thin on the palate and somewhat low on ALC for a premium IPA... good not great chicagodri (1074), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 25, 2008 From the bottle, pours a translucent copper color with a thin white head. Very light hops on the nose. Medium body. Nice amount of bitterness and a little malt to balance. I thought it was an okay IPA, but nothing special. tytoanderso (1387), St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 23, 2008 12oz bottle. Pale malt, bubblegum with much less expressive hops that I’d expect on the nose. Pours clear copper/amber. Just a small amount of bittering hops initially on the tongue. Some floral and soap notes to go along side some corn-y malt characteristics. Medium bodied and slightly disappointing. Thanks Tom! Tweety (344), Vancouver, Washington, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 18, 2008 Updated: Apr 23, 2008An amber pour with a white head. This beer is much sweeter with substantially less hop bitterness than your average IPA. I have had more of these since moving to the east coast than I can count. A very drinkable beer, on tap nearly everywhere in Boston. kassner (472), Wexford, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 18, 2008 Bottle from Tulip pilsner Glass. Faint, alcohol, pear and hops odor from Bottle. Poured to a nice head with clear yellow golden color, obvious carbonation. Head held well with lacing prevalent, Aroma was not much stronger. Nice light flavor with clean hops, hint of sugar, and a resiny aftertaste. Bitterness does not linger. An honest IPA if a little weak.
