| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jan 24, 2008 Poured a light amber with a frothy white head. Aroma was sweet with some hops. The flavor was pretty watered down and less flavorful than most IPA’s I’ve tried. It was a little too sweet for an IPA as well. Overall, it was very drinkable, but not as flavorful as other IPAs. leaparsons (4751), Leicester, Leicestershire, England
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 22, 2008 Bottle. Golden with a small head. Aromas are sweet pine with biscuit malts. Quite herbal. Flavours are herbal and spicy with soft citrus. Some grain with floral notes and hints of soap. Decent. Kirsch (12), East Lansing, Michigan, USA

The flavor was really surprising based on the smell. Very smooth and good flavor. Not sure if it’s what I expect from an IPA though. Overall I don’t think I’d purchase it again. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 20, 2008 Bottled. Golden amber with a fine white head receding to a slick. Nose green hoppy, floral, fresh and lemony, with some alcohol and a touch of sulphur. Tangy mandarin and grapefruit hoppiness softened with lingering crackerbread malt. Notably restrained compared to some of the punchier American IPAs, and as reminiscent of a robustly hoppy English golden ale in character. Shades of Ridgeway, Hopback, JHB, my beloved Church End.....tasty, balanced and authentic. maeib (4766), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 19, 2008 Bottled, Criterion Leicester. A copper coloured beer with a small white head. A nice hoppy aroma. The hops are on the spicy side, but smell lovely and fresh. The taste is nice and full flavoured. Again lots of hops, and spicy hints also. Tasty. agl108 (509), Manayunk, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 9, 2008 Much lighter than most other IPAs. Looks sort of like a pilsner to me.
Smells pretty hoppy and with just the slightest hint of malts.
Hmmm... Not nearly as hoppy as I thought it would be. A bit bland actually. Sort of a weird bitter aftertaste as well.
Not my favorite
