American hop aroma, a little woody, some grapefruit. Fairly toned down US IPA. Malts are a bit wonky. It’s fine, but as I say needs a bit more backbone. Hops are pretty generic. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 26, 2007 A Mes rate: 355ml bottle at Steve’s Xmas booze up. Golden colour with an amber tinge and a good white head leaving some decent lace. Nice grassy hop aroma with caramel and yeast. Flavour is not as hoppy as the aroma would lead you to think. Spicy finish. Bland but ok. thekmoonlegend (93), Lynn, Massachusetts, USA

The color is nice for an IPA. Not the hoppiest IPA I’ve ever had, a nice starting point for novice beer drinkers. Slight aftertaste is typical for this type of beer. One of my favorite IPA’s...especially the draft. dpjuart (670), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 19, 2007 12 oz. bottle. Pours straw yellow with huge, foamy white head. Hop aroma, floral and grass, touch of malty sweetness. Sweet malt start with moderate hop bitterness, and a touch of hop flavor, grassy and floral. Dry, clean finish with a bitter after. Again, a pretty sessionable IPA, solid offering. Could be a good "gateway" beer for recruiting hopheads. f351c4v (408), Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 16, 2007 Pours a slightly hazed, golden color with a nice white head. Fresh-cut flower aroma, some grass, and a hint of sweetness. Not a great deal of different flavors, a noticable hop character, balanced with a decent malt backdrop. Flowery finish. This was one of my first IPA’s many years ago, and it’s still a solid performer. Sanchex (223), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 10, 2007 As the description says, this is a very floral IPA. Citrus aroma is overwhelmed by the floral hop aroma. Well balanced maltiness with a nice clean finish. Very drinkable beer. Cheers! marano35 (22), Bay Minette, Alabama, USA
