Citrus and flowers on the nose with fresh cut grass notes and sweet sugar. Smells better than quite a few other beers that proclaim to be IPAs. After the aroma, flavor kind of falls short. There’s definitely hops on the tongue, and it is a bit balanced, but just seems erratic. Not a very ’tight’ flavor. Aftertaste is good though: all citrus hop there. Pretty crisp on the palate, but as a few other people mentioned, it’s too watery in the body. Still, it’s an actual solid IPA. emerica56 (582), Bristol, Rhode Island, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Oct 1, 2007 This beer has a mild head with a clear golden color ti it. There is a mild pine aroma to it. As you drink it there is mainly a mild hops and hints of pine taste that fades rather quickly on your palate. It is a tad bit on the water side not very complex.
