Rated while drinking: Pours a light golden orange with a fluffy white head that quickly dissipates, but leaves a nice cap on top. Citrus and flowers on the nose with fresh cut grass notes and sweet sugar. Smells better than quite a few other beers that proclaim to be IPAs. After the aroma, flavor kind of falls short. There’s definitely hops on the tongue, and it is a bit balanced, but just seems erratic. Not a very ’tight’ flavor. Aftertaste is good though: all citrus hop there. Pretty crisp on the palate, but as a few other people mentioned, it’s too watery in the body. Still, it’s an actual solid IPA.

This beer has a mild head with a clear golden color ti it. There is a mild pine aroma to it. As you drink it there is mainly a mild hops and hints of pine taste that fades rather quickly on your palate. It is a tad bit on the water side not very complex.

On tap at the 3 Dollar Deweys in Portland. The color is gold with no head. The aroma is of hops with a sweet caramel flavor. No bitterness that is noticeable.

Fruit and mild hoppy with hints of apricot and floral pine. Light to medium grapefruit bitter. Soft and rather smooth mouthfeel. Medium bodied.

golden body; creamy head. Aroma is juicy citrus with pencil shavings, cough syrup & toast. flavor comes across sour, with grains and a little dry bitterness peeking through. the aftertaste isn’t very desirable.

[Sampled in 2005 at svogers outside fireplace.] Uhm, nice in the summerheat, a true summer seasonal as mentioned. Quite sweet and the hoppyness isn’t as dominant as usually.
