Pours a bright, slightly hazy gold with an attractive, thick white head that nicely laces the glass. Aroma of citrusy American hops and (dare I say it?) marijuana. Has a nice initial balance of hop resins, sweeter malt flavors and fruitiness followed by a firm bitterness. Not as extreme as most IPAs these days but a balanced and drinkable one.

Draught. Pours a gold colour with a small white head. Aroma of citrus hops, earthy and hints of malts. Initial taste is not as hoppy from what was expected, the hops were almost nuetral in the background while hints of malts lingered in. Body was thin and watery and the palate was short. No head retention. It was a good stab by harpoon.

Draught at Slattery’s Midtown Pub (Manhattan - NY).
Clear yellow/orange clearly color with lightly hazy and homogenous aspect. Fresh and singed woody aroma, light toasted malt and cask. Typical taste with a much flowery aroma and young wood. Decided bitter on the end with a light alcoholic soft body.

12 oz. bottle from Greenwich Liquors. Appearance is lighter than most IPAs, almost the color of a pilsener, Head is thin and white. Smells fantastic! Very perfumed, flowery hops. Flavor is highly hopped but not overly so, not tricked up. Beer is nice weight, a bit lighter than typical IPA. This is a very good beer.

Had this at the Boston factory. Really good hoppy aroma, smells more sweet and flowery than a normal ipa. Also, a little fyi, this is harpoons most popular beer.

Draft at Gillette Stadium. Clear medium gold color. Moderate white head that sticks around and leaves behind thick sheets of lacing. Aroma is subdued but grassy, with pale malts providing for a mellow background. Flavor is fairly hoppy, with grass and herbs as the main component. Also found a bit of drying wheat and some cheap tasting pale malts. Medium body. Easy to drink, but a bit unsettling at the same time. Average IPA at best.

Good color with a foamy small head. Taste of slight citrus. Fairly watery though. A little light on the hops.
