This beer has is orange and gold in color. This beer has a vey bubbly head to it, accompanied by a lot of carbonation. The beer seems to have a thin palate. Hop aroma is pretty nice; it seems to get weaker after you pour the beer, I don’t know what that is about. In the bottle and just after I poured it the hops were nice a potent. Beer does have a watered down texture. Still, I love the hop taste and aroma; a bit on the sweet side I must say. The head allows the beer to start off nice and creamy, but once you start to actually drink the liquid, and not the head, you begin to see how thin it is. The flavor, of course, is hoppy. As I stated earlier, a bit sweet, but I cannot accurately state as to what flavor the "sweet flavor" is. Decent beer, not the best I.P.A. I can assure you.

this is a very light pale yellow brew! it has a decent flavor that is pineappley and citrus. the flavor is too weak and watery. there is a bitter tang and it creeps up on you. i really don’t consider this an ipa at all - except for the bitterness. i have awarded 2 extra points for literally -no alcohol note- i find that at the heart of craft brewing. hide the alcohol - or enhance it in the brew. but this does not mean that THIS WOULD BE A GOOD SESSION BEER.

Looks and tastes like most other India Pale Ales. However, I found the hop characteristic to be lacking in this beer. It’s good on tap but weak in a bottle.

12 fl. oz. bottle. Copper coloured. Distinct citrusy and grassy hop aroma. Gentle, soft texture at first, then the carbonation and hop bitterness sets in. Nice sharp hop flavours. Copper coloured. High carbonation level. OK India Pale Ale, but does not stand out in any way.

I’ve had this beer both on tap and in the bottle, and I’m not convinced it tastes any better on tap. I actually prefer it from a bottle, oddly...on tap, it is smoother and the bitterness is de-emphasized, which makes me wonder about consistency. Anyway, this IPA doesn’t have the strongest aroma and is only moderately hoppy, and more malty. The malt was creamy and smooth, like most lagers, not particularly rich and complex. However, I really like the way the malt is lighter than most IPA’s (the typical bad micro-brewed IPA is far too heavy.) The flavor becomes increasingly bitter as you drink it, which I like. I really like the texture; there’s just the right amount of carbonation and the body feels neither too thin nor too heavy. Overall, I like it. It is outstandingly refreshing for an IPA, and although it is on the less bitter end of IPA’s, I still think this is a pretty good beer.

I found this at a pub in a small town in South Carolina, apparently it’s only available on the Atlantic coast. Sad for me, as I was on a business trip and live in the midwest, where it’s not available. Outstanding IPA, by far the best I’ve ever had. Nice citrus and floral taste and aroma. Perfect bar drink while snacking and playing darts.

Bu à 3$ Deweys à Portland, Maine, en fut (20 oz). Blonde dorée, pas de collet. Arome doux d’houblon caramelisé, peu amère. goût d’houblon très peu amère, un peu de petit fruit et de caramel doux. Simplistique mais passable!

This beer got me into IPA’s. It doesn’t stand up well to real craft beers, like Dogfish Head’s IPA’s, but ok to drink. Doesn’t have an especially strong flavor, but I like the aroma. Nice aftertaste, and easy to drink.
