Aroma is pleasant but weak. Flavor is very light for an IPA and consists of hops and some light citrus. Finishes nicer than it starts with a moderate but pleasant hoppy aftertaste. An all right IPA but I’ve had regular pale ales and APAs that put this to shame.
Re-rate: Feelings unchanged except for the discovery that the experience of this beer is drastically increased by pairing it with some sharp cheddar. pyromt30 (19), Lebanon, USA

Aromas of faint citrus and some floral notes waft upwards. This IPA starts out with a nice, faintly bitter, crisp citrus hit of flavor. However it quickly devolves and the finish is sort of a sweet, flat mess. Blah Pawola22 (764), Kansas City, Missouri, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Nov 21, 2009 On tap at the CBS Scene at Patriot Place in Foxboro, MA. Pours a clear, deep orange-gold body with a finger-width, creamy, white head that dissipates slowly with a nice retention. Aroma is a lightly sweetened caramel and a decent amount of clean hops with some grassy fruits. Very basic, but nice. Flavor is also straightforward. Light caramels, some citric fruit, and a moderate grassy bitterness. Light, crisp, and dry with a nice aftertaste. Overall, there really is nothing to complain about here. Its very simple and basic, but tasty and well made for sessioning. Lubiere (4536), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 13, 2009 A golden IPA with a thick receeding white head. In aroma, a nice floral hops, pinous, and classy. In mouth, a rather crisp and British rendition, with biscuitty malts, good floral hops, not overpowering. A nice entry level IPA. On tap at Harpoon Tap House, Logan Airport, Nov. 11 2009. Harsebrau (164), Kansas City, Missouri, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Nov 4, 2009 A gift from Mickey and unexpected indeed. Poured golden copper with a whispy white head that left minimal lacing. Aroma that has the typical hop nod. The malt presence is more than many IPAs with a more ’balanced’ approach to an otherwise hop heavy genre. Grass, citrus and other typical IPA flavors abound.
