| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 14, 2009 Pours deep gold with 3-finger white head. Nose is pale malt, hops, sour fruit. Tastes rich, a bit cloying at first, very malty, with peach, apricot, and hops. Tannic, not tart enough for this style, and a bit too cloying for me. Also gets very hot and astringent late. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 14, 2009 Pours a nice gold color with considerable white head and decent lacing. Smells refreshing, don’t recall the details. Flavor is a nice mild blend of light malt and hops with a bit of honey. Alcohol content is covered amazingly well. Good beer, enjoyed very much. Has a nice slight bitterness in the finish that I like to see in lager beers. Lubiere (4552), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 13, 2009 A golden pilsner with a thick frothy white head. In aroma, citrusy hops aroma with light lemon peels, and nice crisp malt and herbal notes. In mouth, crisp malt, loads of Saaz hops, a real pils on hormones. Medium bodied, alcohol warmth in finale. Bottle from Federal Wine and Liquors, Boston, tasted with Mateo in Bogota, Colombia, July 12, 2009. bigrond (1055), factoryville, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 13, 2009 a real ggod beer. A real good pilsner. Light in color with a nice hoppy aroma. Its got a subtle sweetness that overtakes the intial hops flavor. Finishes slightly dry. My second offering from the leviathon series and another winner. rocbyter (926), Waterbury, Connecticut, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 10, 2009 Robust grain and yeast aroma. Clear golden color with a large white head. I wish I poured this on in a larger glass. Light sweetness is masked by some hops in the beginning with bitter hop and mild alcohol in the finish. Hearty lager. blipp (1751), Newark, New Jersey, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 5, 2009 Bottle. Pours clear light gold with a fluffy white head. Spicy floral hop aroma, a hint of grass and lighter notes of sweet malt. The flavor has a pale sweet malt base with a solid dose of spicy and floral hops. A really good Imp. Pilsner. Better than Sam Adams, not quite as good as S.T. Krampus. bonbright7 (174), Bellport, New York, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 4, 2009 This dark golden pilsner has a big taste to it that defies one’s expectations of the style. It has more body and the stringent hops elements are also fruit toned. The after taste flexes between being smooth with elements of dry grains and being bitter with interesting colors. The beer was more complex than I expected, but it was good to taste.
