| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 1, 2009 Lots of big resinous hops, but a little bit rough around the edges takes a little bit of the enjoyability out of it.

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 7/20 | Dec 19, 2009 Draft at Mad Mex South Hills. Deep orange pour, thin ring of white foam, decent lacing. Lots of tropical fruit in the nose, more sweet than anything. Flavor is initially sweet, lending to mango and aspirin and finishing very bitter. Palate is remarkably thin for how sweet this is. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 19, 2009 This ale poured a cloudy dark yellow colour with a nice big, bright white, foamy head. To the nose there are scents of orange and lemon citrus, spruce and grass. Very hoppy notes. First swig was smooth and creamy with a real hopp bite at first. Flavours of pineapple citrus, grass and a little juniper kick you in the mouth at first sip. Tapering off to a hoppy bitter flavour that lasts forever. esjaygee (1578), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 17, 2009 Hazed & infused golden amber with a fluffy off-white head. Aroma of grapefruit, floral and citrus hops, honey and a nice caramel malt backbone. Taste of a citrus burst up front that holds throughout with tangerine, sweet malt, orange, alcohol and caramel malt. Some mild floralness seeps in and it finishes up dry and moderately bitter. kopher (305), New York, USA

slightly hazy, orange-amber, with medium rocky offwhite head.

body is slightly on the thin side, as is carbonation, with a decent bitter finish. overall this is pretty good, but not the most "imperial" iipa i’ve had. SuIIy (1474), Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 3, 2009 bottled. Assertively over hopped Impy IPA, jaw tingly in the best way. Hop resin and a sharp cheddar linger on the tongue. Maybe lacks definition? jeff789 (411), Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 27, 2009 Pours a clear golden, quite lively, with a big white head, leaves nice lacing, is very viscous... Aroma is citrusy, orange, creamy, and alcoholy... Piney flavor, different hops than usual, kind of spicy... Warming, medium-full bodied, medium full mouthfeel, noticeable alcohol... These Leviathan series beers have all been a different take on the style, and are worth trying.... StinkBall (72), Asheville, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Nov 24, 2009 Nice thick head. Great copper/orange appearance. Peach is the first and dominating aroma to hit. Nice smell. Fruity hoppyness flavor. Awesome beer. A hop head’s paradise. A beer I could drink all night, every night. Highly recommended for the hop heads out there. A great Imperial IPA. I will have this again.
