| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 31, 2009 12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy golden color with a larger white head. The aroma is floral, herbal, spicy, and sweet. The flavor is floral, herbal, lemon zest, some barnyard, and slightly fruity, The problem is this is intensely sweet and I usually like sweeter beers. Is this a style that needs to be imperialized? There is too much sweetness to enjoy this beer fully. MrBunn (1563), Western, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 26, 2009 Bottle that I have cleverly avoided for quite some time, now. Pours a cloudy gold with a huge fizzy head and aromas sweet with honey, candy bits and cloves. Flavor is sharp with alcohol and sweet and spicy saison stuff. The booziness is a bit much for me, and the sticky sweetness isn’t really up my alley, either. That said, it ain’t bad... pantanap (1375), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 23, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours a pale golden transparent orange with a huge fluffy head... Aroma of spice, juniper, and spruce with some fruits that barely linger in the background... Flavors flavors somewhat improve with more earthy and pithy fruits. Finish has some bitterness. Carbonation fairly high. Not a big fan at all. bu11zeye (5698), Frisco, Texas, USA
