| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 28, 2008 deep reddish brown with a nice tan creamy head. excellent grainy maltiness in the nose almost has a metallic quality to it if that makes any sense...I’m not sure it even does to me! | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 28, 2008 Bottle and served in standard pint glass: Mahogany hued with fading frothy head and spotty lace. The aroma is massive caramel and liquorice, toast, light fig, grassy hops, and a hint of mineral water. The taste has a nice balance of sweet malt and twangy fruit with a snappy noble bitterness in support. The mouth feel is soft and a tad watery, metallic dryness on the finish. A pretty good Dunkel if you ask me, I almost finished the whole pint glass before I typed in my rating. posikyle (165), Alabama, USA
