| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Feb 10, 2008 Pours a nice dark brown with surprisingly sizable, retained creamy tan head. Nose has very faint banana quality, german noble hop aroma, and slightly toasty, biscuity munich malt. Roastiness opens up on the palate with dark graham cracker, very faint sweet raisin fruitiness, slight toffee and mild straw hop bitter finish. MIld metallic oxidation at first, and seems stronger than it is. Pretty solid dunkel. ogglethorp (890), Ohio, USA
