Bottle. Pours a dark brown body with nice size head. Very nice sweet malty aroma, slight candy essence noticed as well. Flavor is sweet with malt, smooth, light mouthfeel with a touch of smokiness going on in there. Nice dunkel.

Deep reddish amber in color. Small off white head. Get alot of caramel, fruit, and light notes of chocolate in the aroma. Taste is caramel/light toffee, lightly fruity, with a touch of chocolate. some grains and light astringency in the finish, as well as some very light bitterness.

Good sized light brown head of medium sized bubbles. Pretty dense. Light carbonation. Rich roasty aroma with some rootbeer, brown sugar, sweet malts, and some dark fruit. Color is a very dark port brown. Dry and roasty palate with a hint of smoke in the background. Hint of bitterness. Moastly roasted grains and malts. Finishes dry and a little bit bitter. A pretty tasty brew. Better than I expected but nothing special.

Bottle. Pours dark brown/ruby with a moderate, quickly dissipating, tan head. Sweet and fruity malt aroma, with caramel and cherries. Flavor is sweet and roasted malt, again with cherries and maybe some vanilla, and ending with a bit of tart fruit and hops. Seems to have a bit of bock character mixed in with the dunkel. Pretty good.

Pours a dark ruby red colour, barely any head. Aroma is of chocolates and malts. Flavor of toffee, bitter chocolate and malts. I found though that this beer felt rather watery, and the flavors felt almost subdued, not really reaching their full potential, hops were very very faint, I found the finish to be kind of sweet. Not a bad beer or anything, but I don’t think I will purchase it again.

12oz bottle: Deep dark ruby red / brown color, crystal clear, with medium sized quidkly dissipearing light tan head. Aroma is very malty, lots of roasted caramel, notes of cherry and vanilla. Flavor is malty, slight roasted barley notes, bit of caramel and oak, hints of ash. Finish is mildly sweet. A very nice brew.
