Poured a dark brown with a tan head. Nice lacing. Maltly/caramel sweet taste with a bit of hoppy finish. Not bad, not bad at all. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 28, 2004 Out of the bottle this brew pours a dark red, transparent, with an off-white head. Sweet aroma, just like when your homebrewing, a bit unfinished sweet wert smell, and a bit of hops. Taste starts with a light caramel sweetness, nice toastiness, and finishes with some balance hops. Smooth with a nutty quality to it. This brew was a very nice easy drinking brew. jgb9348 (2515), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Dec 17, 2004 Dark brown coloured body with a thin light tan head that fades fast. Aroma of toffee, roasted malt, nuts and pit fruits. Light-bodied; Mild nutty and maltiness. No sweetness nor other flavours. Aftertaste just as bland as you’d expect-nothing on the palate. Overall, a bad beer and one that should be avoided! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Beers of the World in Rochester, New York on 24-November-2004 on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. ambroze (21), Old Hickory, Tennessee, USA
