Expected a lot more out of this beer. Deep brown color with little dark head. Ok roasted, malty aroma.. Medium mouth feel. Sorta funked out taste, but not bad. Sorta thin, not much like a dunkel.

Nice harlequin label. Big head on a porteresque clear dark brew. Dark malty aroma with some vegetable tones. Dry. Pretty smooth with earthy notes. Acidic and coffee bitter, but not off its rocker. Medium-full body, though it goes a bit watery at times. Medium length finish. Not bad, though it’s not quite firing on all cylinders.

Has a light tobaccy aroma with some kids vitamin sweetness in the back end. Pour is dark and murcky, bourbon and coke -like. Tight off-white head. Excellent bitter flavor not usually found in a dunkel. Has some nutty accents as well as some baked brown bread qualities as well. Reminds me of a British Mild Ale. Tart mouthfeel. Very impressed to say the least. Bought as part of a special 12 pack of assorted Harpoons in Savannah.

pretty tasty lager, brown bread nose, garnet colored, head dissipates with alacrity. Good malty blend and some roastiness, super long lasting finish.

Dark ruby body, small tan head, chocolate and brown bread in the nose. Medium sweet, chocolate and brown bread, medium bitterness and nice breadiness in the finish.

This bottled brew poured a medium sized head of fine to medium sized light brown colored mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a fair lacing. The body was transparent softly carbonated and dark brown colored. The aroma was nice with malty brown beer like notes. The month feel was smooth and mildly tingly. The flavors contained notes of roasted brown beer malts and it reminded me of a Doppelbock. A good dunkel but not outstanding.
