Dec 11, 2007 small tan head that settles quickly, some spotty lace. Clear, mahogany colored brew. Nose of light roast, lightly bready. Body is med/light, fairly thin on the palate, uneventful. Thin chocolate flavors with a light roastiness and a touch earthy, some caramel notes as well. Dry, roasty finish. Props to Robert for the bottle and my buddy shoeman for enjoying it with me, thanks Jim! Thanks for the lasagna also, well done!

Sep 25, 2007 Sampled with stegosaurus on our second Boston tour. I forget the place we had it at but I am sure he will remember.Dark pour with off white head. Roast aroma and in taste as well. Mouth feel was a little thin and it could have been balanced better. Not a bad brew but I was dissapointed a little.

Sep 25, 2007 On draft @ Jacob Wirth in Boston Ma with the Mad_Indian. Pours dark with an average size tan head. Aroma of roast, coffee, and traces of hops. the flavor is roasted malts, coffee, and finishes dry. Decent body. Decent brew.

Sep 23, 2007 Very dark brown with a thin tan head. Weird, soft aroma of raisins and earth. Hollow flavor - some roastiness and light coffee notes. Very short finish. Watery body.
