Bottle. Not much going on with this beer. I love Hefes too. Yes it is unfiltered, but I prefer my Hefes to be more hazy than this brew. Taste is good, but just not strong enough. Palate-well there is just not much there. Overall, it is an ok brew--I think it just falls too short of what might be expected of this one.

Dec 25, 2009 Poured from the bottle, this brew was a hazy straw color with about half inch white foam cap that held for about two minutes. Large citrus profile in the aroma, oranges, some earthy damp grain. The flavor is not very complex, mild bitterness and some grassy notes. It’s fairly carbonated, not very complex, straight forward hef. It’s not great, not terrible.

Dec 22, 2009 Pours a 1 finger white head that faded pretty quickly. Body is a hazy pale orange. Head retention and lacing are average at best.
Aroma is dominated by coriander and citrus. Sweet wheat is also in there. No hops are detected
Taste is of orange peel and coriander. Flavors are pretty light, kind of bland. As usual, no hops are present.
Mouth feel is watery. Head has no impact on the beer. Carbonation is well balanced
Overall it is above average. It’s sessionable but the flavors are pretty boring. Dont think I’d buy this beer again

Dec 16, 2009 From notes but I have had this many time. Fresh from the tap in the summer seems to be the best so far. Ultra cloudy golden body with a thick white head. Aroma has citrus and wheat. Flavor is smooth, sweet, wheaty and citrus, lemon and citrus, zesty. Nice body.

Dec 13, 2009 pours translucent yellow with a frothy white head. nose of champagne, peach, orange, and pineapple. aroma is yeasty, lots of wheat. finish is mild, not a lot of banana or bubblegum in this one.

Nov 27, 2009 Pours hazy golden with a medium white head. Aroma is funk and mildew with a hint of citrus. Tastes dirty with a muted bitter finish. Not a great Hefeweizen.

Appearance: Slightly cloudy gold color with a frothy, white head.
Aroma: Citric with notes of lemon, a bit of grass, some light grain (mainly wheat notes), and a bit of yeast.
Flavor: A bit light in the flavor department with notes of lemon, grass, grain, and yeast. Mirrors the nose only lighter.
Palate: Medium carbonation with a light mouthfeel and a short finish.
Overall: Pretty meek stuff in the wheat world. Not recommended.

Nov 2, 2009 Bottle from ericandersnavy. Thanks man! Pours hazy gold with a large frothy white head. Lemon aroma. Medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is lemon, grassiness, and no banana and not much spice. Refreshing. Finishes with a touch of yeastiness. Decent hefe, but banana would be nice.
