Pours dark hazy yellow with a fluffy white had. The aroma is very powdery with excessively sweet orange, syrupy sugar and low, if any, spice. Medium / light body with micro sharp carbonation. The flavor starts with overly sweet orange-esque flavor, minor wheat, some mineral and indistinct spices. The finish is sweet, powdery and medicinal. Fair at best.

Nov 24, 2009 Poured a hazy pale yellow. Light citrus aroma along with some yeast. Good flavors of orange, coriander and wheat. A very respectable Witbier; the best of Harpoon’s UFO series.

Nov 7, 2009 Another tick from ericandersnavy. Thanks again. Pours hazy gold with a good white head. Aromas of orange and clove. Medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is clove, orange zest, and maybe a bit of banana. Or not. Finishes dry, and towards orange. Tasty wit.

Oct 30, 2009 (Bottled) Poured yellow and cloudy with small white head. Aroma of citciness and coriander. Palate was light bodied with medium carbonation. Tasted of coriander, furitiness, citrciness and light bitterness. Aftertaste was mild and fruity. Suitable as Wit.

Sep 28, 2009 Bottle. A bit hazy, light, with a fluffy white head, though retention isn’t particularly great. Nose is definitely citrusy, and the orange peel is fairly prominent. Notes of clove, too. Flavor is, again, citrus, somewhat like a light lemon-orange juice, but supported by wheat-bready malt base. Interesting for a wit - the spice profile is atypical, in that the spices are a lot more subtle. It works well, though - makes for a light beer with enough subtleties to stay interesting. I wonder if it was intentionally brewed as a very gentle, subtle wit, or if the brewers just didn’t spice it enough... Either way, though, it’s refreshing.
