Pours very pale golden with a dissipating white head.
Not a lot on the nose. Some floral hops, and weak malt.
Floral hops translate to the flavour, then bring some ‘mild honey flavours’ as the bottle declares accurately. Sweet. Mild bitterness, weak malt finish. A bit boring, I was expecting something with a bit more honey. A beer with weak aromas always fails to excite me. Papsoe (15180), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Feb 11, 2008 (Bottle 33 cl) Hazy, pale golden with a small, white head. Very sweet honey aroma. Medium in body, pale malt accents and otherwise sticky and excessively sweet honey notes making it hard to finish especially since there’s no balancing hops. Honey beers don’t have to be like this. 010208 Plimmer (251), Frederiksberg, Denmark

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 10, 2006 Bottled. Hazy pale amber. Aroma of honey and grainy malt. Sweet with clean, rounded mouthfeel. The honey blends with mangoish hops and the grainy malt, low bitterness. Fairly well made, but I just don’t get the idea with these honey ales. yalnikim (785), Wellington, New Zealand
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 9, 2004 Yellowy orange colour with fluffy homebrewish head. Honey and malt flavours are strong and linger slightly with mild bitterness. Little in the way of any complex flavours.
Not a bad summer drop, but not outstanding either. Not exactly my style. I could drink one or two of these but wouldn’t drink it all night. Spiesy (2333), Global Citizen, Greater London, England
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Apr 19, 2004 Bottled, in Sydney. Amber with a fluffy white head. Organic, rustic flavours and aromas. Some honey presence but not in a sweet way. Not a patch on Bar Bar. The stuff was being pushed out the door in a bottle shop in Crows Nest. beerledgend (919), Waterloo, Wellington, New Zealand

This beer is like a fireworks display, looks pretty but goes up in a bag and gone in seconds.
