Nice aroma, lots of molasses, light chocolate, some roast. Good taste - acidic side of things but still milk chocolate and molasses. Dry. A solid porter, LCBO got one right here. Aroma is of molasses and brown sugar and a touch of caramel. Flavor is similar with some smoky notes as well. Not as strong of a flavor as other porters that I have liked more. Palate is very nice. A creamy mouth coating drink this one is easy to put down in a hurry. Not bad.. Just not great! yarry (370), Waterdown, Ontario, Canada

Dark brown with reddish undertones and a decent, frothy off-white head that left plenty of lacing. Aroma of dark chocolate, caramel and roasted malts. Full mouth feel, with more sweetness to start, bitter chocolate, coffee and spice. Decent bitter finish with a touch of raisin fruit. Very enjoyable.
