Commercial Description:
The filtered bottle version of the 3.8% cask ale.
Note: This is not the beer that won Supreme Champion in 2003.
"Bottled with approximately 1/3rd less Carbon Dioxide than most beers. This results in a fresher more natural tasting beer. Combines Hallertau Hersbrücker with Challenger. Late hopped with Styrian Goldings, which gives a sharpness like the twist of a lemon."

Bottle - A truly great example of this style of beer. Pefrectly malted and carbonated. This beer has a very refreshing flavor and mouthfeel. Slightly fruity and pleasantly bitter. Excellent

Bottle, courtesy of norwegian importer. Golden with small head. I expected more hop aromas from the late hopping. Wee bit short. But by all means a descent beer.

Bright golden color with a medium sized head with medium persistence. Thick lacing. Nose of fresh grain and bread with just a subtle hint of spice. Fresh sweat taste with notes of bread, malt and perhaps a hint of citrus. Bitter/sweet finish with just a slightly spicy snap. This was a clean tasting brew with lots of subtle little flavor notes within to make it interesting.
