Commercial Description:
The filtered bottle version of the 3.8% cask ale.
Note: This is not the beer that won Supreme Champion in 2003.
"Bottled with approximately 1/3rd less Carbon Dioxide than most beers. This results in a fresher more natural tasting beer. Combines Hallertau Hersbrücker with Challenger. Late hopped with Styrian Goldings, which gives a sharpness like the twist of a lemon."

500ml bottle. Clean and crisp with a well formed tight white head and deep amber colour. Aromas of lemon rind with a coriander backdrop. Spicy, dirty flavour that is crisp on the palate and a little bit different.

Bottle. Very rich sweet floral aroma with a rich caramel malt backbone. Pours a foogy sediment filled gold that deepens to orange in the center. Thin soapy white head that leaves wavy thin lines of lacing. Flavor is dry, herbal and grassy with a toasty malt body. Medium bodied with a light bitter finish.

500ml bottle. Pours clear orangey yellow with a small just off white head showing average retention. Quite marked hoppy aromas of citrus fruits (mainly oranges) and flowers. It has a moderately sweet malt backbone with a solid fruity dry hop finish that persists. Medium bodied with a slick texture. Thirst quenchingly good.

500 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours very pale blonde in colour, with decent head, leaves lots of lacing. Aroma is slightly sweet, with a floral hoppiness. Taste is slightly bitter.

Poured out a light gold brew with a so-so bubbly white cap, slippery lacing. Fresh hops, nectaries, white bread, very weak caramel for aroma. Decent flavour: citrus (lemon, grapefruit), apricot, hard crust buns, good chew, slight spice. Well done. Refreshing. Good solid middle, light light bitter finish.
