Aroma is a combo of hops and biscuits. Flavor is pretty weak. A tad sweet, a tad hoppy and a slight hint of bitterness. I expected more from a beer with this name. wunderbier (1267), Tampere, Finland
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Sep 15, 2008 Deep blond under a spongy, white head. Crisp biscuit and cracker malts; hops come in as lemons and grass. Seriously bready before citric acidity; spicy hop finish with a bamboo aftertaste. Adequately dense, oily, minimal carbonation.
Straightforward but lacks a little in the nose.
50 cl bottle, best before November 2009. Archibaldo de la Cruz (412), Finland

The flavour is fresh, lemon, hops and bitter with dry finish. Good, refreshing brew. patrick767 (2051), fort wayne, Indiana, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 14, 2008 bottle - Pours deep golden. The aroma is of biscuity malt and some citrus accented hops. The flavor is fairly light and very well balanced with the hops coming through well with that lemony twist the commercial description mentions. Good session beer. theisti (1684), Leawood, Kansas, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 8, 2008 500 ml bottle purchased at Lukas in Kansas City, Missouri. Pour is hazed golden yellow. Nice 1 inch egg white head. Nice lace. Aroma of fresh bitter orange fruit, some lemons. Taste is the bitter orange, with a bit of cardboard. Woodchips, maybe? Some grass, hay, spicey floral notes. Finish is drying, with a reintroduction to the woodiness. Palate is watery, and drinkable. This had a lot flavor. Quite a bit going on with nice integration. Overall, nice sessionable brew. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 5, 2008 On tap at the Pepperland served in a Tulip glass large white head that goes to a thin lace that lasts thorough the brew . The body of the brew was a pale yellow and clear.
Aromas of citrus comes out I first thought this might be a Belgian the citrus is that strong. The malts sweetness is present as well in the nose.
Not a terribly bitter brew for being called a bitter. The flavor of sweet citrus is very present. The hops make a light showing in the end note. This brew has a light mouthfeel and good carbonation.
This brew has great drinkability, and very sesionable. I had a few tonight with dinner and it was very enjoyable experience

Flavor is bitter with mosty lemon and other citrus fruits coming out. Finish is very tart but a little watery in the end. Good for a sample but i think once most people try this they’re not going to want to get another. Quack-Duck (3286), Bodensee/Schwarzwald, Germany
