Commercial Description:
The filtered bottle version of the 3.8% cask ale.
Note: This is not the beer that won Supreme Champion in 2003.
"Bottled with approximately 1/3rd less Carbon Dioxide than most beers. This results in a fresher more natural tasting beer. Combines Hallertau Hersbrücker with Challenger. Late hopped with Styrian Goldings, which gives a sharpness like the twist of a lemon."

Bottle, courtesy of norwegian importer. Golden with small head. I expected more hop aromas from the late hopping. Wee bit short. But by all means a descent beer.

Bright golden color with a medium sized head with medium persistence. Thick lacing. Nose of fresh grain and bread with just a subtle hint of spice. Fresh sweat taste with notes of bread, malt and perhaps a hint of citrus. Bitter/sweet finish with just a slightly spicy snap. This was a clean tasting brew with lots of subtle little flavor notes within to make it interesting.

This golden beer has very little head. The aroma suggests lemon zest. The flavour is dominated by citrus -- lemon particularly, but also grapefruit -- with biscuity malt and some pepper on the finish.

500 ml bottle. Clear, golden yellow colour. The head is white, medium-sized and lasting. Sweet, fruity aroma with fresh lemon and floral hops. Medium body, soft carbonation. The flavour is lemon and grapefruit, with a nice and lasting bitter finish. Very refreshing.

This golden/blonde ale pours a medium gold color from a 500ml bottle. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet. A medium bodied golden ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are earthy and floral. Crisp and clean, with a nice malt profile. The lower alcohol level makes this a nice session ale. Lively carbonation. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
