Commercial Description:
The filtered bottle version of the 3.8% cask ale.
Note: This is not the beer that won Supreme Champion in 2003.
"Bottled with approximately 1/3rd less Carbon Dioxide than most beers. This results in a fresher more natural tasting beer. Combines Hallertau Hersbrücker with Challenger. Late hopped with Styrian Goldings, which gives a sharpness like the twist of a lemon."

Bottle 0,5l. Gift from Rune. Thanks! Light golden colored - almost yellow. A fluffy white head that lasted for a few minutes. Aroma is hoppy and full of citrus. Fruity bitter flavor with grapefruit dominating. Sourish bitter aftertaste. Refreshing. KI=8

[bottle from Waitrose, Marlow] As the name suggests this has strong lemon citrus flavours with some grassy hops, followed by a deep but pleasant bitterness. An unusual yet very refreshing and satisfying beer. Nice work Harviestoun!

500 ml bottle. Small white head. Very light yellow-orange liquid is clear. Lots of spices (e.g. pepper) in aroma with hops and fruits. Flavor is mainly bitter but fruityness gives balance. Long finish is bitter and enjoyable bitter. Gets better and more aromatic when warms up a bit.

500mL bottle purchased from LCBO several months ago when this was a seasonal release, though I never got around to reviewing it until now. But it has a best before date in January 09. Pours a pale gold with just a hint of haze. Nice, but reserved, hoppy aroma. Flavour is nice, a bit thin in the middle but with some warming English hop aftertaste.

This is like drinking an iced tea, but it’s a beer. Very enjoyable, with an herbal, lemon balm essence in the flavor. Biscuity honey maltiness, this is very thirst quenching.

Honey-colored, with a low white head. Aroma of fresh hops. Full flavor, wonderful and complex bitterness, nice long finish. Definitely a quality beer!
