An unusual yet very refreshing and satisfying beer. Nice work Harviestoun! esox (265), Oulu, Finland

Lots of spices (e.g. pepper) in aroma with hops and fruits. Flavor is mainly bitter but fruityness gives balance. Long finish is bitter and enjoyable bitter. Gets better and more aromatic when warms up a bit. GRM (1268), Aylmer, Quebec, Canada

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 2, 2008 500mL bottle purchased from LCBO several months ago when this was a seasonal release, though I never got around to reviewing it until now. But it has a best before date in January 09. Pours a pale gold with just a hint of haze. Nice, but reserved, hoppy aroma. Flavour is nice, a bit thin in the middle but with some warming English hop aftertaste.

Very enjoyable, with an herbal, lemon balm essence in the flavor. Biscuity honey maltiness, this is very thirst quenching. Viper666 (622), Greenfield Park, Quebec, Canada
