Clear, pale orange brown body with a long-lasting foamy white head and big bubbles stuck to the side of the glass. Grainy orange hops flavour also has bitter grapefruit. Medium body is bitter. Not big on the grapefruit but a nice bitter otherwise. piscator34 (1136), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 7, 2008 Bottled sample via gregclow. Light orange in colour with moderate yet spritzy carbonation. Strong hop aromas of cut grass, lemon, and madarin orange. More of the lemon + cut grass element in the mouth, along with a subtle earthiness and very mild pale malts. Great clean and refreshing bitterness. An excellent bottled golden ale. gilvanblight (397), Windsor, Ontario, Canada
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jan 5, 2008 Hazy orangish pour with very little head. Very bitter scent. Strong bitter taste, too bitter like the taste on your tongue when you put something non-edible in your mouth. Not a fan of this at all. My wife tells me is clover flavoured. gowdy (174), Ferney-Voltaire, France

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 31, 2007 500 ml bottle. pale golden beer, slightly cloudy with a creamy white head. Lovely zesty aroma. Light lemon and orange citrus with a soft wheaty/hoppy spiciness. Pale UK malts throughout but there is also a nice wheaty spice flavour on the back. Fresh and well hopped with a nice zestiness that just refreshes the palate for the next taste. Moderate body with a nice crisp bitterness. I like this one a lot. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 28, 2007 THOUGHTS: Sort of British but smoother. Aroma is nice but a little weak. Noat at all what I was expecting. I always thought this was an ESB. A nice surprise. Not bad.
TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a ever so slightly hazy, medium yellow with small particles of an average density and a small, white head that mostly diminished. The aroma was very light malt and moderate herbs and lemon citrus hops. The initial flavor was lightly to moderately acidic and lightly bitter, while the finish was moderately sweet and heavily bitter with and average duration. The flavor was mostly lemony citrus hops. The light to medium body was very dry with lightly tingly carbonation and a metallic finish. Slacks (491), Bolton, Ontario, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 28, 2007 500ml Bottle: Pours golden in colour, good sized foamy white head. The aroma is pleasant, lots of citrusy hops and sweetness coming through. The flavour is milder than expected solely based on the name, but still a decently balanced citrusy sweet and tart that is quite pleasant. Perhaps poorly named, but a good beer on it’s own merits.
