Commercial Description:
The filtered bottle version of the 3.8% cask ale.
Note: This is not the beer that won Supreme Champion in 2003.
"Bottled with approximately 1/3rd less Carbon Dioxide than most beers. This results in a fresher more natural tasting beer. Combines Hallertau Hersbrücker with Challenger. Late hopped with Styrian Goldings, which gives a sharpness like the twist of a lemon."

bottle, pours gold, with a thin to medium white head. Nice hoppy aroma with some pale malt. Nice sweet pale malts with a very fresh floral and citrus hop ending that is dry. Nice and drinkable.

500 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours very pale blonde in colour, with decent head, leaves lots of lacing. Aroma is slightly sweet, with a floral hoppiness. Taste is slightly bitter.

Poured out a light gold brew with a so-so bubbly white cap, slippery lacing. Fresh hops, nectaries, white bread, very weak caramel for aroma. Decent flavour: citrus (lemon, grapefruit), apricot, hard crust buns, good chew, slight spice. Well done. Refreshing. Good solid middle, light light bitter finish.

500 mL Bottle. Clear golden yellow with a foamy white head leaving ample lace. Aroma of citrus and herbs, sweet malt, yeast, and a hint of caramel. Flavor of light sweet malt with an aftertaste of grapefruit rind and a citrus rind finish with a hint of pepper. Simple yet good

Light, clear golden ale with a small, fizzy head. Lemon citrus aroma with notes of green tea?. Perfectly balanced and very drinkable with hints of lemon and Bushell’s. Light-bodied, but smooth with good carbonation. Crisp, clean finish. I’ll be having some more of these this summer.

500 ml bottle from the Boise Co-op. Pours a very clear golden color with a large foamy white head. The aroma is sweet honey, lots of spicy hops. A sweet mix of English hops, earthy and spicy, some honey and sweetness. Damn, this is a great Golden Ale. Can you say quaffable?
