Commercial Description:
The filtered bottle version of the 3.8% cask ale.
Note: This is not the beer that won Supreme Champion in 2003.
"Bottled with approximately 1/3rd less Carbon Dioxide than most beers. This results in a fresher more natural tasting beer. Combines Hallertau Hersbrücker with Challenger. Late hopped with Styrian Goldings, which gives a sharpness like the twist of a lemon."

Bottle from the LCBO. Bubbly orange amber body with a small foamy white head (3+). Mild musty aroma, orange citrus, muted toasty malt. Moderate bitterness throughout, alternates between sweet orange and acidic tart grapefruit notes. Malt in the background - Marris Otter perhaps? Smooth slightly fuller than average palate suits it rather nicely. (3+) Surprisingly tasty, eminently quaffable.

(Rating #1374)

A dark yellow/pale golden colour with a small and frothy white head that leaves the glass nicely laced before slowly dissipating. Plenty of carbonation at the outset but that soon calms down. Before I had set the glass down I could smell the gorgeous aromas of this brew. Clean orange, lemon tones with perhaps some lime notes too. Fresh citric flavours compliment a spicy hoppiness. A medium bodied thickness on the palate and a long-lasting dry and spicy hop finish. A nicely complex golden ale.

liquorloft tallahassee fl, bottle poured a golden hazy hay with a small white head. Smelled like citrus, light sweet fruit and light malt. Taste was fresh and clean malt finishing with lemon like spicy hops. The palate wasn’t what i would have asked for, this beer was very thin and watery.

Tasty session beer. Some malt and sweet caramel, hop aroma modest but nice bitter bite for a low gravity ale. A session beer I’d be happy to drink in quantity.

Tasted 1. des -07. Aroma is spicy from the hops, some kind of lemon fruits and maybe caramel malt. Great, not quite but close, fruty taste with a nice bitter end from the hops. A really balanced, mellow ale

500ml bottle Puts a lightly hazed golden ale in the glass with a modest 1 finger white cap that laces moderately. Aroma is aromatic -spicy, peaches, with light maltose sweetness. Wonderful soft mouth to this, peachy spicy tones match the pale malts in the front, develops an earthy- woody bitterness in the center and finishes with those sturdy-spicey bitters in balance with the fruity esters..al carried there by a soft mellow roundness. These guys can make a flavorful ale.

Golden yeller, no head, tiny bubbles forming white ring with a bit of lace. Aroma of sweet freshly baked white cake, piney, floral hops. Flavor is hoppy, light-medium mouthfeel. Hops are most apparent in a bitter finish. Yummy.
