Commercial Description:
The filtered bottle version of the 3.8% cask ale.
Note: This is not the beer that won Supreme Champion in 2003.
"Bottled with approximately 1/3rd less Carbon Dioxide than most beers. This results in a fresher more natural tasting beer. Combines Hallertau Hersbrücker with Challenger. Late hopped with Styrian Goldings, which gives a sharpness like the twist of a lemon."

Orange amber in colour, clear. Thin lacing head. Smells very rooty and bitter with a tinge of citrus skin. Tastes hoppy and sweet, citrus, leafy/grassy with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Very clean and refreshing, surprisingly so, based on the smell.

Bottle: Poured a blonde color ale with a small foamy head with limited retention. Aroma of subtle floral malt. Taste is a mix between some floral malt with some sweet notes. Body is average with some average carbonation. I was expecting something more complex or bitter based on the name of beer but I really thought this was bland.

500 ml bottle best before Jan 09. Pale golden bronze colour with a fully lasting fizzy and frothy off-white head. Nice citrusy, spicy, grassy, floral, pithy, and pungent aroma. Lightly bready malts with a lemony, spicy, pungent, fruity, and pithy bitter finish. Medium bodied, juicy and refreshing mouthfeel. Beautiful sessionable golden ale - though as I was warned, the bottle just makes me yearn for the cask version.

Bottle - 500ml. Pours a light amber body with average carbonation and a thin white creamy head. Fresh hoppy aroma with grassy and flowery hints. Its sharp hoppy (mainly Golding) taste ends with a long bitter finish. Very enjoyable Ale!

Golden with a nice fluffy head. Some malt and some citrus in the aroma, and a nice light taste that is dominated, but not bludgeoned by, a good hoppiness. A nice bitterness lingers on the tongue. I am off to buy a case.

It IS like a bit of lemon got in this thing. Beautiful reddish-golden amber coat with fine head. I like the hops which are above-par interesting.

Bottle 500ml
Appearance :Medium cloudy amber with hint of sun , minimal creamy fizz with rocky patch.3-
Nose : Soft fruity aroma of lime with mango, sweet rich malts below.
Flavour/Palate : Light bodied but not overly thin , citrus green hops are dominant with out rough harshness. Sweet base helps this ale . Brew with mellow character yet with bite which is uncommon trait at Great Britain. I would like to try casked version of this ale that might suit bit better than glass vessel.
