| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Oct 24, 2007 Bottle LCBO. Really nice glowing yellow with orange, small white head, really murky near the top with a few streaming bubbles. Aroma is at first light and spicy and then butterscotch sweet. Taste - not bad! Spicy hops at first, and then the malt kicks in. Almost a wheat like finish. Interesting combo. Only complaint is that the body is on the watery side of medium. Lots of spice and lemon linger. A refreshing yet full; flavoured beer. Good stuff. Cartoonkhaki (1150), Brantford, Ontario, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 23, 2007 Golden yellow with beige head. Pillowy and lasts. Aroma is malty with some hops. Flavour is malty with bit of hop and some citrus notes. The body tends to be a bit watery. It leaves an emptiness to what could be a great beer. Honestly though it still isn’t that bad. wilderthanyou (418), Guelph, Ontario, Canada
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 21, 2007 Pours a deep golden yellow with a thin creamy head that slowly becomes a thin lightly fizzy film. The aroma is of very fresh hops and citrus. The flavour starts with a touch of malt, which remains as the backbone throughout, but the finish is an overwhelming grapefruit bitterness. Pretty damn tasty though. Not for the mainstream beer drinker though. Top notch brew. VeloVampire (490), Parkdale, Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 20, 2007 Updated: Oct 21, 2007500 ml bottle - pours an almost clear honey gold with a good sized white head that remains for most of the glass and leaves thick lace. Gorgeous aroma - fresh hops, lemon, some grassiness, really, really citrusy. Nice. Flavour has similar notes, but also a tannic undertone and the whole thing seems like drinking lightly carbonated (real) lemon iced tea. I like it. It’s pretty amazing that this combination of hops can produce such a, well....lemony aroma and flavour. Delicious. Snappy, dry, bitter finish. I’m really surprised by this one and saddened that it wasn’t available here during the summer months when it would have been absolutely perfect. Great beer. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 20, 2007 Pours gold with a frothy head. Good lacing. Aroma is bitter, citrusy hops. Taste is at once unique and surprising. I was expecting a mesh between IPA and a bitter -- which proved incorrect. Notes of soft caramel blend into a bitter mix of high acid fruits. Fairly full bodied. Bitter finish. FatPhil (3476), Espoo, Finland

Light orange, thin head. Smells of raw malted barley, just at the start of mashing. Some slight gingery hops too. Quie carbonated, sharp in the mouth. Wet skins of nuts. robinvboyer (1429), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada

Nice aroma of english hops, and citrus. Flavour is very very nice, loats of hops the goldings really come through, and i can really tatse that lemon twist. The hops in this beer are done perfectly, an immensely drinkable, and enjoyable beer. I can’t get enough of that citrus grapefruit hops punch in the flavour. Love it!
