Commercial Description:
The filtered bottle version of the 3.8% cask ale.
Note: This is not the beer that won Supreme Champion in 2003.
"Bottled with approximately 1/3rd less Carbon Dioxide than most beers. This results in a fresher more natural tasting beer. Combines Hallertau Hersbrücker with Challenger. Late hopped with Styrian Goldings, which gives a sharpness like the twist of a lemon."

500ml bottle (Gallows Bird, Espoo) Light orange, thin head. Smells of raw malted barley, just at the start of mashing. Some slight gingery hops too. Quie carbonated, sharp in the mouth. Wet skins of nuts.

nic golden/amber color. very small white head that disipates quickly. Nice aroma of english hops, and citrus. Flavour is very very nice, loats of hops the goldings really come through, and i can really tatse that lemon twist. The hops in this beer are done perfectly, an immensely drinkable, and enjoyable beer. I can’t get enough of that citrus grapefruit hops punch in the flavour. Love it!

500ml, 4.2% a/v Golden orange in colour with a thin white head. Aroma is citrus and hops. The beer tastes citusy, very hoppy, and incredibly clean. A bit on the heavier side in the mouthfeel which is quickly balanced out by the hoppy aftertaste. Very nice clean beer.

Part of an English Bitter tasting in Ocean NJ on 10/06/2007. Sharp floral and lemony notes rule the aroma and flavor of the brew. Malt takes a back seat, allowing the aroma and bittering hops to show their stuff. A little on the watery side, with a dry finish, the generous use of Styrian hops lend a unique citric character to the beer.

500ml bottle. Orange golden body with a dense white head. Delicate, fresh hoppy aroma. Spicy and citrus. Flavor is dominated by a light sweet hoppy taste. Grapefruit, lemon, peaches and a bit peaches. Light body with a certain bitterness, a great refreshment treat.
