Commercial Description:
The filtered bottle version of the 3.8% cask ale.
Note: This is not the beer that won Supreme Champion in 2003.
"Bottled with approximately 1/3rd less Carbon Dioxide than most beers. This results in a fresher more natural tasting beer. Combines Hallertau Hersbrücker with Challenger. Late hopped with Styrian Goldings, which gives a sharpness like the twist of a lemon."

Bottle, 0,5l. Nice round fruity and fresh aroma. The appearance is nice golden yellow, with a nice white head. The flavor is clearly grapefruit and a twist of lemon. The grapefruit flavor hangs in the mouth, and leaves a fresh taste. Good mouthfeel. Good overall impression.

Bottle, tullip. Pours amber-gold with tall white fluffy head. Very faint notes of citrus and malt are perceptible in the aroma. Flavors of grapefruit, lemon, hops and small amount of doughiness are apparent. Good.

Nose is gently hopped with a little peach. Pours light copper gold with a disappearing head but persistant lace. In the flavour and finish it comes fully into its own through a masterful level of hopping - perfect for the strength and body of the beer and adding a zesty freshness and long, dry, citric finish that leaves you wanting more as soon as you can get the glass back up to your mouth! One of the best golden ales I know and one of the best beers at session strength I can think of.

Crisp gold. Thin head. Interesting light hoppy aroma. Light malt body, salty, hoppy beer but rather plain.
