Commercial Description:
The filtered bottle version of the 3.8% cask ale.
Note: This is not the beer that won Supreme Champion in 2003.
"Bottled with approximately 1/3rd less Carbon Dioxide than most beers. This results in a fresher more natural tasting beer. Combines Hallertau Hersbrücker with Challenger. Late hopped with Styrian Goldings, which gives a sharpness like the twist of a lemon."

Crisp gold. Thin head. Interesting light hoppy aroma. Light malt body, salty, hoppy beer but rather plain.

Very pleasant light flavor. Clean grains with light hops give it a weightless, fine balance.

Light tan color with a short lived white head. Aroma is slightly sweet with hops and malt. Flavor is similar with a strong floral hops backbone and sweet malt. Very drinkable...

Good pale bitter. The hopping is lager-like with the hersbrucker and a low ester profile. Good bitter spike and refreshing dry finish.

Sweet scent, small head, a hoppy, fresh, exciting taste with a mild aftertaste, perhaps a little caramel-like. One for the cellar and one to be enjoyed with friends.

Aroma of malt and grassy hop - something of a light roasted note. Golden amber color with virtually no head. Starts with a light toasted malt effect, mixed with citrus. Finishes dry and bitter. It’s more complicated than the foregoing indicates. Nice smell, nice taste. Nice bitter finish. Good.
