Commercial Description:
The filtered bottle version of the 3.8% cask ale.
Note: This is not the beer that won Supreme Champion in 2003.
"Bottled with approximately 1/3rd less Carbon Dioxide than most beers. This results in a fresher more natural tasting beer. Combines Hallertau Hersbrücker with Challenger. Late hopped with Styrian Goldings, which gives a sharpness like the twist of a lemon."

Light, clear golden ale with a small, fizzy head. Lemon citrus aroma with notes of green tea?. Perfectly balanced and very drinkable with hints of lemon and Bushell’s. Light-bodied, but smooth with good carbonation. Crisp, clean finish. I’ll be having some more of these this summer.

500 ml bottle from the Boise Co-op. Pours a very clear golden color with a large foamy white head. The aroma is sweet honey, lots of spicy hops. A sweet mix of English hops, earthy and spicy, some honey and sweetness. Damn, this is a great Golden Ale. Can you say quaffable?

500 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a clear yellow gold with moderate-sized white head. Aroma of spice, citrus. Nice flavour with spice more muted and citrus more prominent, especially in the finish. Medium-light body, but full of flavour. A pleasant beer.

Nice aroma of spices, fruits, definitely a bitter on the nose but there’s some coriander and some other things that make it seem almost like a Belgian. Looks great, nice head, nice colour. Tastes okay, good bitter with hops and some of those aforementioned spices showing through, a little wateriness, and not a whole lot of complexity. But it’s a good bitter and a good pub brew. Could be thicker.

Fruity tangerine aroma. Pours golden with a thin white head. Sort of lemony, with a dry finish. Thin on the malt. Not much there...
