Smooth, almost oily consistency, with a bit of tingly hops in the thick malt profile. Looks and tastes like a heavy lager. brentfeesh (1040), Gadsden, Alabama, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jan 2, 2007 Bottle thanks to Book_M_Dano. Enjoyed New Years eve 2006. Pours straw colored with champagne like bubbles. Spicy light bitterness and hints of grain sweetness in the aroma. Hay and grain. This is a bitter brew. Spicy hops dominate the flavor with hints of nothing else. There is little body to this one and the flavor is one dimensional. No malt to hold up the potent hops. Maybe I had a bad bottle as others seem to have enjoyed flavors mine completely lacked. OleR (2116), Oslo, Norway

Pleasant fresh and floral hop aroma with notes of citrus. Taste is mellow and complex. Dry malt, grapefruit, honey, mild spices and delicate hops. Medium body. Supersmooth mouthfeel. Medium bitter dry finish. Very nice! swoopjones (1925), Buffalo, New York, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 17, 2006 Classic oily hopsack nose a la Church End. That flowery, resiny hop/ honeyish- yeasty balance again. Very aromatically hoppy. A definite nibble of rose. Rolls around the mouth oozing bread, honey and floral hops. Great ’length’, as they say. Just the right parting bitterness. A very cheeky specimen. RichJ7 (1175), Cullman, Alabama, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 23, 2006 Pours a hazy golden with a thin white head. Sweet malty aroma with a dash of citrusy hops. Flavor is soft and malty ... burtonized water, perhaps? Light carbonation, malty flavor with a nice rounded citrusy hop finish. Not bad. Similar to the Wychewood brews I’ve had. probstk (1064), Nepean, Ontario, Canada
