| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Apr 24, 2006 This bottled brew poured a medium sized head of foamy white colored fine to medium sized bubbles with a frothy top that left behind a softly carbonated transparent light orange brown colored body. The aroma was mild with malty and doughy notes. The mouth feel was tingly from start to finish with a mild malt hop thin flavor with just a touch of bitterness. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/20 | Apr 14, 2006 Aroma: pleasant with a hoppy and citrus undertone. Appearance: Head dissipated quickly and essentially completely. Light amber in color, almost clear around the top edge of the liquid. I know that this is supposed to the filtered version but my bottle had a tremendous amount of sediment which I found unusual. I will have to try it again to see if it was just an aberration. Flavor and palate: as expected with a bitter yet a lemony finish. Quite nice and refreshing overall.
Overall: Would rate much higher if not for the sediment. I will have to come back to this one. Lunkie (1020), Glen Iris, Australia
