Commercial Description:
The filtered bottle version of the 3.8% cask ale.
Note: This is not the beer that won Supreme Champion in 2003.
"Bottled with approximately 1/3rd less Carbon Dioxide than most beers. This results in a fresher more natural tasting beer. Combines Hallertau Hersbrücker with Challenger. Late hopped with Styrian Goldings, which gives a sharpness like the twist of a lemon."

The aroma has robust citrus hops and caramel malt. The appearance is gold with a light orange hue. The head is medium. The flavor is hoppy with a citrus and pine flavor with caramel. The palate is average. This is a simple but good beer and very much like an IPA.

Bottle. Small white fizzy that mostly diminsihed, sparse lacing, carbonated, transparent, and a gold hue. Nose was nicely hopped and sweet. The flavor was mildly hoppy and some light citrus. Nice mouthfeel. Light-medium body. A nice, refreshing beer.

Bottle pours a golden color with nice head that leaves the glass quickly. This beer is all about the Goldings hops. It is remarkably citrusy mostly lemon. The finish is bitter but not assaulting. Refreshing.

Pours a golden glass of beer, with a white, foamy head, which dimishes quickly & pretty much completely.

Very hoppy, but smooth, & if it were as carbonated, it would very much remind me of a Heineken. However, this Scottish brew is much more of a bitter than a lager, & much more flavorful.

Pours a clear yellow (rather than gold), with a small foamy white head.
Citrusy sourish, fruity aroma of lemon and flowery hops. Sweetish, and faintly wheaty.
Fruity lemon returns in flavor, but somewhat dryer and subdued. Distinct flowery bitter hop in finish, leaving a bitter and slightly fruity aftertaste.
Very smooth, pleasantly light carbonation. Quite interesting and fairly enjoyable.
