Commercial Description:
The filtered bottle version of the 3.8% cask ale.
Note: This is not the beer that won Supreme Champion in 2003.
"Bottled with approximately 1/3rd less Carbon Dioxide than most beers. This results in a fresher more natural tasting beer. Combines Hallertau Hersbrücker with Challenger. Late hopped with Styrian Goldings, which gives a sharpness like the twist of a lemon."

Golden beer with a little, white head. Very fresh aroma, lemon, hops and flowers with a hint of malt. The flavour is initially dominated by lemon, some herbs and has a very long hops aftertaste. Full mouthfeel considering the alc content.

Golden, sparse head. Citrus aroma. Hoppy flavour with grapefruit. Taste of dry hops remains for a long time.

Bright and refreshingly bitter. Surprisingly intense citrus activity in the aroma and flavor, with lemon and orange predominating. All this on top of a lighly sweet malt base. Very well done.

Medium gold, little head. Lightly floral hop aroma. Flavor is slightly bready, a touch of floral, a touch of lemon on the finish, and decidedly thin and watery overall. Really not very good. These types of beers rarely survive bottling well.

Poured with a good, white head. The aroma was subtly delightful: aromatic and floral. Taste had citrus and sweet malts. The intense bitter finish made this a beautifully refreshing beer.
