Golden beer with a surprising wonderful aroma with the late addition of hops. Flowery hops dominate throughout with citrus lemon coming in. Superb example of a beer of this type GarethYoung (1110), Glasgow, Scotland

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 16, 2005 Bottle from Sainsburys. Not as good as the draught, obviously but a very good bottled version. Zesty citrus hop aroma aroma, mouthfeel not bad considering the carbonation. Good long bitter finish. Very fresh and clean lemon, orchardy citric flavour. Nice, crisp hops on a slight leather malt base. Very good balance. Not the biggest in terms of agression or crunchy hops, but a very proficient Golden and rightly revered.
