Commercial Description:
The filtered bottle version of the 3.8% cask ale.
Note: This is not the beer that won Supreme Champion in 2003.
"Bottled with approximately 1/3rd less Carbon Dioxide than most beers. This results in a fresher more natural tasting beer. Combines Hallertau Hersbrücker with Challenger. Late hopped with Styrian Goldings, which gives a sharpness like the twist of a lemon."

Bottle at LCBO - Pours a nice deep orange with a good head. Smells fairly clean and zesty. The taste is fiarly good, with straight-forward hoppiness and zesty lemon/spices. I wouldn’t go as far to say that it’s the most refreshing thing out there, but at least it’s ok. Decent beer.

Clear pale gold pour, bitter hop aroma which is quickly replaced by strong lemon scent (the more we smell the more iced tea we get). Bitter sweet taste mostly sweet. Quite watery for a bitter short mouthfeel. Smooth carbonation. Finale is mostly herbal and just a little bitter, lingering herbal flavors. I agree that this beer smells much better than it actually tastes.

It poured a hazy golden liquid with a small foam that left some lacing. It had a fresh aroma of citrus and hops. It tasted fresh with some citrus and hops. But also a bit watery and bland, it smelled better then it tasted.

50 cl bottle, Toronto, ON, Canada. Deep golden colour, tight foamy head. Pronounced hop aroma, fruity and autumnal. Mellow firsti sip, fills the mouth and throat. Carbonated enough for interest, does not overpower. Nice finish, grainy-cereal with some sweetness that fights the bitter.

(Bottle, Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 25 June 2009) Golden colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity nose with notes of apricots, grass and citrus. Fruity, biscuity taste with orange, apricots and grassy, spicy, slightly citrussy hops in the finish. Fairly sweet, below medium body. Tasty and drinkable, but not as good as the cask version.

Bottle@home (Thanks to BA Bark for this one!) Apperance: Golden color with a small, creamy, head. Liquid is clear. Aroma: Lemon, Spices, Malt and earth. Flavor: Citric notes, Bitter hops, Bread and a hint of caramel. Palate: Quite bitter with a long aftertaste of lemon. Medium carbonation. This was way more bitter than i expected. The taste of lemon mixes perfectly with the hops and makes for an refreshing drink. Interesting!

Clear dark golden color with a white head. Nice spicy hop and mild ganja bud aroma. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Mild but tasty floral and ganja hoppy flavors on a lightly sweet pale malt base brew.
