Commercial Description:
The filtered bottle version of the 3.8% cask ale.
Note: This is not the beer that won Supreme Champion in 2003.

ENGLISH EXACT TRANSLATION: Wonder of a light beer, very intense taste for such a low ABV. One might talk about its rich cerealish maltiness or its multiple layers of crisp hopped bitterness that is both citrusy and leafy but it is really as a whole that this beer rteveals itself as being simply amazing. In Quebec, of course Hopfenstark’s Blonde Ostalogia rivalizes seriously as the best golden ale available but since this one is much easier to find (SAQ), I had a lot of this Harviestoun wonderbeer this summer!

This is really nice- great thick beer taste, marvelously smooth (far form bitter or twisted) and an amazing smell of warm baked goods. Only down side is the low abv.

500 ml bottle fom the LCBO. pours clear golden with a mid sized white head that last the whole pint. beautiful spicey hop nose with sweet light malts underneath. wonderfully floral with some honey suckle. perfect aroma for a golden ale. the flavour is hops up front with a touch of sweet malt mid palate. a tight bitter finish rounds everything into place. so well balanced and put together. the best beer for session purposes ive had in a while. ill be buying more of this one this summer.

500ml bottle from the lcbo. Pours a very pale gold with a large white head, looks very much like a good Pilsener. The aroma is just incredible. Wow! An incredible collection of hops, sharpness, pine needles, lemon, with a very sweet malty backbone evident, frutiy esters especially peach, spicy and zesty! This might be one of the best smelling beers I’ve ever come across! The flavour doesn’t let down, hitting on all the aspects of the aroma, with a really nice lemon zing in the finish, almost biting the tongue but with really nice sweet malts and peachyness to round it out. Same odd spicy element that makes it just a tad bit more interesting than it already is, and ZEST! Nice perky mouth-feel. What a beer! So glad this is a regular list item now at the LCBO!

Pours hazy straw color with off white head. Malt and lemon aromas. Lots of hop flavor but not bitterness. It has a fresh cut grass taste to it. Light to medium body with moderate carbonation.

500ml bottle, bright golden color, with an off-white head, nice spicy floral hop, leafy, grassy, lime, lemongrass, lemony nose, with a light honeyed pale malt, note, with a hint of ginger in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodeid palate with sweet fruity, toasty, biscuity malt chareacter, with a good flowery hop lemongrass accent and some grasy, leafy, zesty, lemony, grapefruit flavors, leading towards a malty, spicy, spritzy, limey, grassy hop bitterness finish.
